Project 366 - week 4 - days 22-28

The first month of my 366 project is now complete. I got a second hand Canon speedlite flash this week and have been having heaps of fun with it. I'm not usually a fan of flash photography, but this produces amazing results. Anyway, on to the photos!

Project 366 - week 3 - days 15-21.

Week three has been a really good week for me project wise. I'm starting to push the boundaries more with the type of photos I take, and one of my photos for the challenge made flickr explore. So I'm really happy :).

15/366 - let's play darts.

13/366: Some of our crabapples :)

14/366 - frosted

14/366: We had the first real harsh frost of winter today, so I had to capture that before I went to work this morning.

That's the end of week two. I'm thoroughly enjoying the project so far. Long may that feeling continue!

Project 366 - week one - days 1-7.

At the beginning of the year I started Project 366 where you take a photo each day for a year. It's usually 365, but as 2012 is a leap year I'll be taking an extra photo. I'm going to share my photos at the end of each week on my blog. Here's week one.

I really enjoyed the first week of the project. I can't wait to take next week's photos!

Last minute Christmas bargain.

At the end of December Soap & Glory always have a day where they sell off their huge gift sets at less than half price. I was lucky enough to bag myself a splendour gift set at £25, reduced from £60!

Isn't it lovely? There's so much stuff inside it, that should surely keep me going for the next year. The lady in the shop said I was lucky to get one since people had been queuing for them from the early hours that morning.

I am all ready for Christmas now and planning on having a relaxing day. I can't believe it's only 6 days away. These photos that I took really put me in the festive mood :)

Busy busy!

I'm sorry I've not found the time to blog for a couple of weeks :( I've been busy with my etsy shop when I've been on my computer.

I've found time to get into the Christmas spirit though, I have a beautiful pink tree in my bedroom!

I can't believe it's only two weeks until the big day itself now. I have definitely been a good girl this year, since the iPhone 4S is my Christmas present. I can't wait to get it!

It makes me really proud to think that some people will be receiving my jewellery items as gifts. I'm trying to make as many new items for my shop as I can. I made this pink bracelet a few days ago. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Clumber Park.

This past week I went to Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire to take some photos. It was almost the end of the day, but I got some great shots of the wildlife there. It's such a beautiful place. It looks amazing with the mild weather we've been having- it still feels like autumn, even though Christmas is only four weeks away.

I got my second flickr explore photo last week as well. I'm really pleased! I've decided to do project 365 in the new year to try and keep improving with my photography.
