For starters the e-ink screen is really friendly on my eyes, and that's a biggie for me. It really does work very well and relies on natural light to show the text up, as a normal page would.

It's super lightweight, thin and portable, so it can be sneaked into my bag to be read during the day when I get a quiet moment at work.

Battery life is also pretty fantastic. Sony claim that the battery will last for 2 weeks, or 6800 page turns.
All in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase, even if it's a sinful one. And yay for the pink!

oh I want one!!! I am so behind technologically - it is shameful!

So was I until this month and then I go and buy two things at once. I'm feeling awfully guilty :(
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle and I agree about reading on that as compared to the IPad. There are so many other uses for the IPad though it's still a useful purchase.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like reading on my kindle, I still read books too. Seems redundant but I get books from swap meets or library sales or from friends. So I don't spend an arm and a leg. I buy newer books on my kindle. Enjoy your new prezzie!
I'm following here. Would love it if you followed on my blog as well. I have a sony reader too. They're great.
